She moved to Fayetteville in 1921. She was the wife of the late Chalmer K. McClelland. She was born 22 Jan 1885 at Pontotoe, Mississippi and was the daughter of Thomas A. and Annie Bramlette. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was active in the women's organizations: a member of the Leverett and Peabody P.T.A. She was a secretary for the City Library board for 25 years and one of the founders of Harmon Playfield (football field at Fayetteville High School), a member of the Outlook Club and the Daughters of the Demeter. Survivors are four sons: Chalmer Kirk McClelland Jr. of San Antonio, TX, Clement Bramlette McClelland of Houston, Thomas Bramlette McClelland also of Houston, TX. and James Edward McClelland of Fayetteville; one daughter, Miss Ann McClelland of Houston, one brother, Paul Bramlette of Longview, TX and two sisters, Mrs. W. H. Harrell and Mrs. J. C. Francis both of Longview, TX, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in Moore's Chapel by the Rev. Charles I. Andrus. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Fayetteville,AR. |

Leake, Jr. of Houston, TX., brothers and sisters-in-law; Sidney Leake, III and his wife Liz of Houston, TX., Matthew Duke of Atlanta, Christopher Leake and his wife Alex of Houston, TX., numerous other relatives and loving friends. A celebration of Austin's life will be held at 11:00am Saturday, January 3, 2015 in the chapel of Southern Cremations & Funerals at Cheatham Hill, 1861 Dallas Highway, Marietta, GA 30064. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 2nd from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Funeral Home. |

There is a fine Elizabethan monument to Sir Richard by his wife Susannah, located on the north wall of the chapel. The monument is built of variegated marble. Between the columns are two arches forming alcoves for the principal figures of Sir Richard and his wife. Sir Richard can be seen wearing the insignia of the Lord Mayor of London.
